February flowers
Mild at 10C. The front that has been feeding off the E Coast of US is throwing rain and wind across the midlands; we're getting just a bit of wind and very little rain. A touch of sun thrown in every now and then.

Oriental Poppies
I have two types of oriental poppies in the garden. I don't know the formal names of either. One is a bright red the other a salmon pink. (Neither colour is a personal favourite but they are far enough away from my pink flowers to not clash.) The former is behind the bird bath, the latter by the trellis around the oil tank.
With all types of oriental poppy, when they have finished flowering cut flower stems and leaves to ground level which should result in more flowers later in the year.
